Untitled
I started this piece to help me through art block by throwing acrylic paint on an old canvas sitting on my porch. Over time I added on to it idly after work in a room where the only light source most of the time came from Christmas tree lights that I had never taken down, and primarily listening to Risk by Mega Mango on a loop. I cut the canvas with a knife and stitched the edges back together, a few days later adding cardboard backing so I could fill the canvas with Poly-fil, because sometimes it's nice to work without a plan. The last thing I added was the bandages, after noticing the shade of blue matched the paint I had started with.
