Statement
I am exploring the idea that we have a variety of "bricks" - physical, metaphorical, conceptual, organizational, political, and traditional - that block our ability to see situations clearly and subsequently impede our ability to find workable solutions to our problems. In general, I think these conceptional bricks cause us to artificially impose order onto chaos and vice versa. Art allows us to find fresh perspectives and provides a vehicle for pushing against our limitations.
