Statement
My work focuses primarily on portraits and the human figure. I like to show expression and emotion with unconventional colors schemes. By
layering and blending acrylics, I can, for example, create a portrait with green and blue or multiple shades of purple instead of the standard skin colors. I want to grab the viewer’s attention with my pieces and draw them in, stirring their
curiosity and imagination, wondering who is in the painting and what their story
is.
