The Manchester Arts Commission, in collaboration with Palace Theatres, is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for local artists to showcase their talent at our upcoming Pop-Up Gallery during the Manchester Citywide Arts Festival. We invite artists from the greater Manchester area to submit their artwork for consideration to be displayed in this vibrant and engaging exhibition.
About the Event:
The Manchester Citywide Arts Festival is an annual celebration of art, culture, and creativity that brings together artists and art enthusiasts from all over the city. As part of this year's festivities, we are hosting a Pop-Up Gallery at a prime location to enhance the cultural experience and provide a platform for local artists to gain exposure and connect with the community.

- Pop-Up Gallery Dates: September 15th to 17th, 2023
- September 16th, 2023, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (During the Street Fair)
- September 17th, 2023, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM (During the Street Fair)
- Pop-Up Brunch: September 17th, 2023, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- Art Drop-off Dates: September 14th between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM
September 15th before 4:00 PM
- Art Pick-up Dates:
- September 17th, 2023, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- September 18th, 2023 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Submission Guidelines:
1. Eligibility: This call is open to all artists residing in Manchester, NH, and surrounding areas.
2. Artwork: Artists may submit up to two pieces for consideration in any medium or style, including but not limited to painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, and mixed media.
3. Artwork Size: Please ensure that each artwork is suitable for display in a gallery setting. Larger pieces may be accommodated, subject to availability of space.
4. Submission Process: Interested artists are required to submit their entries via ArtCall at MAC2023Gallery.ArtCall.Org. The submission should include:
- Artist's Name
- Contact Information (Phone and Email)
- Title, Medium, and Dimensions of Each Artwork
- Brief Artist Statement (optional)
- High-quality images of the artwork(s) (JPEG or PNG format)
5. Commission Fee: There is no application or registration fee to participate in the exhibition. However, the Manchester Arts Commission will retain a 30% commission fee on any pieces sold during the event.

- Submission Deadline: September 4th, 2023
- Notification of Acceptance: September 6th, 2023
- Art Drop-off: September 14th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, September 15th before 4:00 PM
- Gallery Hours: September 16th, 2023 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and September 17th, 2023, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Pop-Up Brunch: September 17th, 2023, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
